Celebrity Karaoke Club

Celebrity Karaoke Club is a new reality TV show on ITV2 where celebrities sing karaoke. As far as I know, there has never been a Karaoke Club just for members of the public. Whenever you see a reality TV show prefixed with the word “celebrity” it usually implies that it’s a celebrity spin-off version like Celebrity Big Brother. Well, I say there’s never been a Karaoke Club for members of the public, but there has in a way, with shows like Stars In Their Eyes and The X Factor. Celebrity Karaoke Club is kind of the polar opposite of those shows really, as while Stars In Their Eyes and The X Factor had members of the public being transformed with costumes and make-up performing big stage productions, Celebrity Karaoke Club has celebrities (leaving aside how far from the A List they might be…) performing in what looks more like a karaoke bar.
